Alta Mae Webb, 88, of Jacksonville went to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 31, 2020 surrounded by her family. Alta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Doyle Webb; two brothers, Ben Williams and Louis Williams and many other special loved ones.

Alta is survived by her two daughters; Linda Brantley and her husband, Doug Brantley and Lisa Pinkston and her husband, Paul Pinkston, all of Sherwood; four precious grandchildren, Monica Bearden (David), Eric McKinney (Kayla), Daton Pinkston and Dawson Pinkston; three precious great-grandchildren, Cooper Bearden, Charlotte Bearden and Easton McKinney. She is also survived by one sister, Velma Whiting (Phillip) and two brothers, Red Williams (Judy) and Larry Williams; brother-in-law, Curtis Webb (Linda) and sister-in-law, Sharon Leone (Mike), along with many other family members and friends.

Alta was a longtime banker in Jacksonville but by far her favorite job was being a mom, grandma and great-grandma. Alta absolutely adored her daughters, grandkids and great grandkids, they were her everything. She loved family being all together and she was our rock. Anyone who knew Alta loved her. She truly was one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Bearden officiating. Burial will follow at Sylvania Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home (501)982-2136.
