Amanda Leah Rounsaville-Crafton, age 58, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away on March 1, 2024. She was born on December 2, 1965 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Dickey and Stella Rounsaville.
In her early years Amanda was an accomplished runner and held a county record as a high school athlete. She also was an Army veteran and among the first Army women to rappel from a helicopter. Amanda was considerate, kind, helpful, and loving; she had a heart of gold and thus all the riches in the world.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Crafton.
She is survived by her significant other of over 10 years, Kenneth Ashworth; siblings, Joseph Rounsaville, Dickey (Mirta) Rounsaville, Jr., Belinda Hackler, Stephen Rounsaville, and Tim (Lisa) Rounsaville; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close friends at DeRidder Retirement and Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at St. Jude Apostolic Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:15AM at the church.
