Anna Heinz Sellars Johnson, age 89, of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021. She was born and raised June 21, 1932 in Ramstein, Germany to Johann and Anna Heinz. In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her two husbands; two sons, John Sellars and Mike Sellars; and two brothers in Germany, Hans Heinz and Klaus Heinz.

Anna met her first husband, Everette Sellars in Germany while he was stationed there. The couple later moved to the United States, where she became a U.S. citizen. Sadly, Everette passed away in 1983. Anna met her second husband, Maurice Johnson in 1986. The couple was married until 2005 when he passed away. Anna retired from JC Penney's after many devoted years of service. She enjoyed going back home to Germany to visit family and friends, volunteering at the Jacksonville Care Channel, Meals on Wheels, having coffee and cake with friends, traveling, shopping, and gardening. Anna was also a member of St. Jude's the Apostle Catholic in Jacksonville.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Melissa Milam; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Jay) Murrell and Mandy (Jason) Wolff, both of Cabot; five great-grandchildren, Mason, Lainey, and Collins Murrell and Sawyer and Brooks Wolff; and numerous nieces and nephews in Germany.

Visitation will be 12:00 -12:30 p.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home, followed by the burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
