Audrey J. Embry, 82, of Jacksonville passed from this life on May 28, 2024. She was born, March 14, 1942 in Guyana to the late Edward Edmond and Rubina (DeAbrue) Singh. Audrey enjoyed going to casinos, reading, working in her flower beds and family gatherings. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Embry was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kellie R. Newman and daughter-in-law, Natasha Embry.

Survivors include her loving a devoted husband of forty-seven years, Darryl Embry; children, Dale Andrew Newman (Natalyn) of Cabot, John David Newman (Sandra) of Georgia, Dwayne Allen Newman of Jacksonville, Darryl Scott Embry of Mississippi; grandchildren, Courtney L. Newman, Jake C. Newman, Wyatt Newman, Morgan R. Flanagan, Vision S. Embry, Brighton S. Embry; great grandchildren, Corrie E. Childs, Haze C. Newman and Cade A. Newman. Other survivors include siblings, Jennifer Nowaki (Alredge) of Florida, Desmond Singh of Canada, and Teresa Coventry of Canada; along with host of extended family and friends.
