Barbara C. Kizer, age 86, of Newport, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020.  She was born January 28, 1934 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Barney B. Cockrell, Sr. and Margaret Hall Cockrell.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and son, John David Anderson, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Holly Beth (Terry) Carter and Mary Lisa (Ed) Gillert-Price; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
