Betty Jane Grisham, age 80, passed away on July 2, 2024 at her residence in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 1, 1943 to the late Albert Reed and Janie Lorene Wray.  Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Wray.

Betty grew up with her parents in Memphis, Tennessee. Through her early years she absorbed knowledge from her parents. These life skills and knowledge were prevalent in her life as her work ethic earned her several first-place awards for her baking skills. She was a cheerleader, a member of the 4-H club, a "Soda Jerk" during high school and apparently socially active in the many photos she kept.  She married James Staten Grisham at the age of 18 and raised three children. As she grew older, she continued taking care of her grandchildren, parents, and anyone in need. She loved her three dogs, who she would cook breakfast for – yes eggs plus bacon or sausage. Although she had her faults, as we all do, she will be remembered as a caring and nurturing Christian lady.

Left to cherish Betty's memory are, three children. Craig (Michelle) Grisham, Cindy (Terry) Smith, and Kimberly (Brian) Ayers; six grandchildren, Casi (Matthew) Gaskin, Taylor (Michael) Fleshman, Emily (Dash) Robinson, Ethan (Amanda) Smith, Kailee (Eli) Mason, and Abby Ayers; ten great grandchildren, Wessyn Gaskin, Colton Gaskin, Remington Gaskin, Olivia Gaskin, Kinley Fleshman, Myiah Fleshman, Luke Robinson, Kimi Robinson, Brantley Smith, and Emmalyn Smith.
