Betty Sue Patty was born September 11th, 1948 in Grand Prairie, Texas to the late Billie Redding and Betty Rowe. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 28th, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, Jesse L Patty; daughters, Sharon Redding and Michele Patty; sisters, Sharon L. Redding and Hazel Crites.

She is survived by her son, Donald Patty; granddaughters, Donna Patty and Syerra Marshall; siblings, Deborah, Mary Lynn and John; six great-grandchildren and countless friends and extended family.

She dedicated her life to making sure that the people around her knew how much they were loved and valued by at least one person in their life. Between working on the bus route with her church when she was younger to her days volunteering at the Care Channel, she never met a stranger or someone she couldn't talk to. She could make a friend anywhere she went and you never knew how lucky you were to have her as one until you were down one day and she was just there. She was steadfast in her beliefs and worked hard to instill a small piece of her confidence, values, outspokenness, and heart into her children, granddaughters and great-grandbabies. They were the light of her life and she always made sure everybody knew it.

All are invited to attend the visitation at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas, on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will be immediately after at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, there will be a reception at Bible Baptist Church, 3301 N 1st St, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.
