It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Billy Head, Jr., who was born on December 26, 1953, and passed on November 10, 2025.

Billy was the beloved son of Billy Sr. and Laverne Head, and the loving partner of Delana Eaton. He was a devoted brother to Herbert Head, Albert Head, Patsy Graham, and Cindy Cunningham.

Billy was blessed with five children, Herbert Head, Jay Head, Angel Carter, Gary Carter, and DeRanda Carter, who were the pride and joy of his life. His love continued to grow through his grandchildren, Sydney Robinson, Shelby Head, Billy Head, Cheryl Head, Lily Head, Brianna Bush, AvaLyn Carter, Asia Childress (Tommy Brooks), Devin Childress, Ciara Childress, Egypt Roseboro, Journee Mattison, and Maya Mattison.

He also adored his seven great-grandchildren: Zakk Perry, Blake Perry, Aubriella Luttrell, Cassidy Kraichely, Rylee Childress, Leilani Brooks, and Bryson Bush. Billy was a proud uncle, great-uncle, and great-great-uncle to many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Billy will be remembered for his kind heart, playful sense of humor, and the way he could light up a room with his laughter. He loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting family first. Those who knew him will never forget his warmth, his generosity, and the joy he brought into their lives.

He will be missed beyond measure, but his spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
