Bonnie Louise Strauser Colness, 80, passed away peacefully February 19, 2022 in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born May 18, 1941 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas to the late Ben F. and Nola (Kenipe) Strauser. As a child, she moved with her family to Little Rock and later, to Jacksonville, Arkansas. She attended Central High School, worked as a bookkeeper, and was an active family historian and genealogist in her later years. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dannie Walter Colness; sisters, Arta Standage, Hazel Pepper, Sara Fairchild and Dollie Kersey; and brothers, Jake, Fred, Glen and Christopher "Pete" Strauser.

Survivors include her nephew, Charles Strauser; nieces, Annette Mackey and Phyllis Diederich, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
