Bonnie Mozelle
Gregory
Oct 1, 1928 — Apr 29, 2024
Lonoke
On Monday April 29, 2024, The Lord received his faithful and loving servant, Bonnie Mozelle Foster Gregory home to be in the everlasting warm sunshine. Bonnie was born October 1, 1928, in Walnut Ridge, AR to the late Horace Houston and Audrey Beach Foster. She is preceded in death by her parents, her darling daughter Carolyn Gregory DuBose and her beloved husband of 67 years, Bill Gregory.
Grandma or "MaMaw" as she was known to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandson, was the heartbeat of our family. She loved all the things important in life: Her God, her darling husband Bill, and her family and many, many friends. Grandma loved nothing more than sitting on her porch watching birds and puttering in her flowers. For many years she loved to travel, explore the country and motorhome with the love of her life Bill and best friends Homer and Louise Furnell. She and her niece Nancy Bryant loved to go adventuring on road trips and, more often than not, get lost together. She loved to laugh, joke, and play tricks on family and friends alike. She taught us all the importance of family above everything and showed us the joy to be found in the small things like fresh falling snow, banana birds and cheap chocolate chip cookies. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories. We will cherish the moments spent with her, the lessons she imparted, and the love she showered upon us.
Bonnie is survived by her grandchildren Bubba (Tiffany) McVay, DeLinda (Eric) Pack, and Debbie (Craig) Tissue; great grandchildren Caraline McVay, Courtney (Ryan) Johnson, Carson Pack, Cruz Pack, Cameron Tissue and Casey Tissue and her great-great grandson, Mason Johnson. Also left behind is her sister-in-law Mary Lou Foster, nieces, and nephews and so many, many people that were drawn to Bonnie like bees to spring flowers because she was sunshine, and everyone wanted to be warmed under her glow.
