Brennan Edward Ayers, of Lonoke Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on January 24th, 2025. He was a man who lived life with a laugh in his heart, a love for people, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of open pastures and the simple things that made life rich. He never met a stranger and left everyone he encountered feeling valued and cared for.

Born in North Little Rock, Arkansas, on August 21, 1976, Brennan grew up with an unshakable joy that seemed to grow as he did. Even as a little boy, his playful charm was evident—like the time he confidently greeted a lady at church with "Good morning, beautiful!" at just three years old. That joy carried him through life and became one of the hallmarks of his personality.

Brennan came to know Jesus at the age of 8 under the ministry of Winfield Piker, and by 11, he knew God had called him into ministry. He started living out that call early, becoming a youth pastor at Cloverdale Assembly of God when he was just 19. His ministry wasn't about titles or recognition—it was about people. Brennan loved people deeply and wholeheartedly, whether he was mentoring youth, leading missions, teaching, or preaching.

One of Brennan's proudest accomplishments was starting a food pantry at Jacksonville Middle School, seeing it as an opportunity to meet practical needs and show the love of Christ. His ministry wasn't about recognition or accolades; it was about investing in people. He truly saw people, loved them where they were, and led them toward hope and faith.

Family was everything to Brennan. He met Karen, the love of his life, at McArthur Assembly of God thanks to the prompting of Pastor Burton. They built a life together centered on faith, family, and joy. His family remembers him as a son, brother, dad, uncle, and pawpaw who loved BIG and never missed an opportunity to show it.

When he wasn't ministering, Brennan could usually be found outdoors. He loved gardening, farming, and—most of all—cows. Open pastures were his happy place. A simple man by nature, Brennan didn't need fancy things—his joy came from the land, his faith, and the people he loved.

The scripture Brennan lived by was Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." And that's how he lived every day—with excellence, passion, and a heart fully committed to God. His legacy is a lesson to us all: Learn to see people, invest in their lives, and lead them to Jesus.

Brennan is survived by his wife Karen; his children, Kyle Haynes (Ricci), Brooke Armstrong (Drew) ; parents, Don and Glenda Ayers; sister, Tahleigh Compton (Michael); 5 grandchildren, Behr Haynes, Mayer Haynes, Cypress Haynes, Kiden Armstrong, Kulture Armstrong; nieces and nephews, Hunter Compton, Madelyn Brandon, Aubrey Brandon and Kayleigh Brandon.

Brennan brought joy to every room he entered and left it better than he found it. Though we'll miss his laugh, his singing, his dancing, his smile, and his bigger-than-life personality, we rejoice that he is now in the presence of the Savior he served so faithfully.

Funeral services for Brennan will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at North Little Rock  First Assembly of God Church with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at North Little Rock  First Assembly of God Church.
