Carl Clifton Conley, Jr., 92, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Carl was born on Monday, September 1, 1930 in Judsonia, Arkansas to the late Carl and Donna Blanche Manley Conley, Sr. Carl retired from the United States Air Force and Arkansas First Electric Co-operative. He was an avid amateur genealogist and a Baptist. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther Louks Conley and a great granddaughter, Caroline Runels.

Carl is survived by his children, Marilyn (Derrell) Vann of Jacksonville,  Carolyn (Eddie) Porter of Jacksonville, Gary (Angie) Conley of Ward, Jodi (Randall) Long of Jacksonville; a brother, Fred (Dorinda) Conley of Forrest City; 13 grandchildren, Angie(Chris) Runels, Jason Conley, Amanda Woodruff, Paul Conley, James Carlton, Sarah ( Jonathan) Ransom, Katie (John) Berry, Leanne (Richard) Hern, Claire Vann, Jeff (Allison) Porter, Ali (Dan) Palm, Kendall (Morgan) Long, Emily Long; 17 ½ great-grandchildren , Christopher Runels, Dylan Conley, Logan Conley, Kaitlyn Conley, Gabriel Conley, Gavin Conley, Glenn Conley, Lily Fields, Leo Fields, Madison Ransom, Evan Berry, Norah Berry, Margo Hern, Geo Hern, Arlo Hern, Olivia Porter, Emery Porter; and one great great-grandchild, Trevyn Hamilton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
