Carl Edward Kitchens, 75, of Jacksonville passed away October 3, 2022. He was born September 29, 1947 in Bastrop, Louisiana to the late Willie Morrell "Billy" and Virginia (Murray) Kitchens. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene; and his siblings, Johnnie and Dennis Kitchens.

Those left to cherish the memories of Carl include his son, Carl E. Kitchens Jr.; step-children, Carl, Franklin, and Daniel Chrobak; siblings, Janice Carroll and Lynn Dillion; grandchildren, Brittany Mavity, Suzanne Kitchens and Destiny Kitchens; great-grandchildren, David Bocksnick Jr., Shay Mavity, Jace Mavity, and Bowden Carrington; as well as close friends Wayne and Laverne Tucker.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 10, 2022 at North Hills Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
