After a long battle with breast cancer Carol Ann Dabbs Belote, 77, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 4th, 2022. She was born August 23, 1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Stewart R. and Lillie Ruth (Caviness) Dabbs.

After retiring from a career at Jacksonville municipal court, Carol enjoyed spending time at home doing crosswords, playing with her beloved Labrador retriever Sugar and cooking tasty meals for her family. Many weekends were spent enjoying time with her family floating on the lake in her pontoon boat. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Belote; her daughters, Lisa Belote of Concord, California, Leslie (David) Dunn of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Cary Belote of North Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Nathan (Lauren) Dunn and Bailey Dunn, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; her sister, Melissa Compton of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her uncle and aunt, Ken and Virginia Caviness of Los Angeles, California.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
