Carolyn Rose Holt, 86, of Jacksonville passed from this life on April 10, 2025. She was born April 22, 1938 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Otis Stewart Sr. and Lois (Evatt) Brown. Mrs. Holt was a homemaker and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, working in her yard and taking trips to Branson, but was always happiest spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Billy Doyle Holt in 2009; siblings, Otis Stewart Jr. and Barbara Stewart-Green.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cindy Jeffers and Lisa Thrower both of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Bobby Allen Jeffers (Kristen) of Conway, Andrew Jeffers of Jacksonville and Courtney Sicking (Cecil) of Arkadelphia. Other survivors include great grandchildren, Shelby and Jackson Sicking, Sydney and Makenzie Jeffers; along with a host of extended family and many friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Monday, April 14, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Mrs. Holt will be laid to rest next to her husband at Bethel Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10:00am.

Pallbearers will be Mark Holt, Tim Goforth, Terry Goforth, Matt Stewart, Kenny Fox, David Fox, Clay Stewart, Scott Stewart and Mark Hammons.
