Charlene Ann Costa, 92, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on March 19, 2024. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 16, 1931 to the late William and Grace Roesener.

Charlene graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati and was a practicing Registered Nurse at UAMS for 20 years. Charlene was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, the Alter Society, the Beta Sigma Phi professional sorority, the Otter Creek Women's Club, and the Little Rock Italian Club. She enjoyed many activities including traveling with her late husband, attending the Little Rock Symphony, and rooting for her favorite sports teams.

Charlene was a proud, two-time cancer survivor. She maintained lifelong friendships with many and truly never met a stranger making instant connections with all she met up until her final days.

Most of all, Charlene loved her family and was a devoted and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was the centerpiece of her large family keeping everyone connected; recognizing every birthday, anniversary, or special day with a kind note; sending text messages up until her final days; and praying each day for her family and others in need.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Costa, her parents, and her stepfather Edgar Weaver.

She is survived by her children, Colleen Krieg (Jeff), Deborah Drew (Chuck), Laurie Costa, Annette Costa, Mark Costa (Lisa), Brian Costa (Lisa), and Kathleen Costa; ten grandchildren, Stephanie, Tim, Anthony, Amy, Eric, Kendal, Katelyn, Emily, Mitchell, and Skylar; ten great grandchildren, Quinn, Ava, Ever, Basil, Jewel, Izzy, Miles, Mason, June, and Eleanor; and brother, Al (Pauline) Weaver.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30AM, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Cathedral of St. Andrew, 617 S Louisiana St., Little Rock, Arkansas. A rosary will begin at 9:30 AM at the church with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. A private family burial will take place at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
