Charles "Charlie" Arthur Marsh, 79, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  He was born on Sunday, October 10, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late George and Abby Rogers Marsh.  In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. George Marsh II; and his son, Chad Marsh.

Growing up in Kansas City, Charlie was an avid bird watcher, tree climber, Eagle Scout, and fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. As an adult, Charlie enjoyed photography, woodworking, and asking questions about everything. Charlie loved nothing more than sitting in his recliner to watch his Kansas City Chiefs play football. Charlie was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Barbara Morgan Marsh; his children, Ashlie (Charlie Anderson) Marsh of North Little Rock, Roger (Rhonda) Mallison of Jacksonville, Shirley (Thomas) Freel of Washington, Michigan, Rachel Mallison of Little Rock; daughter in law, Kerri Barnes Marsh (widow of Chad); and eight grandchildren, Gracie Anderson, Cameron Marsh, Bailey Johnson, Ryan Mallison, Mike Torrillo, Emily Torrillo, Jackson Torrillo, and Mason Moody.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 9:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
