Charles Edgar Baty, 88, of Jacksonville passed away July 1, 2022. He was born November 2, 1933 in Jackson County, Arkansas to the late Mark and Jonnie (Myers) Baty. In addition to his parents, Charles was welcomed into Heaven by his wife, Reathey Baty; daughter, Patsy Wirchester; sons, Colombus and Dwayne Baty; brothers, Donny and Orvil Baty; and sisters, Betty Baty, Irene Winchester, Mural Hill, Arthie Baty and Evie Hill.

Those left to cherish Charles's memory include his children, Rose Mary Keith, Marie (Larry) Elizabeth Bell, Della Nonnemacher, Patricia (Kenneth) Armstrong; step-children, Pearl Frederick, Judy Moses, Tommy Green, Sammy Cox, Carl Cox, Michelle (Keith) Morrison, and Barbara Seaton; girlfriend, Helen Cox; thirty-five grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
