Clois Ladell White, of Greenville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on July 5, 2026, just over a month before her 99th birthday. She passed peacefully in the presence of her loving son, Steve.

Clois was born on August 10, 1927, in Chicota, Texas, to the late Lester and Delpha Wisner. She was raised in both Texas and Oklahoma.

In 1943, Clois met the love of her life, Roscoe Carlos White, while he was training at Camp Maxey in Paris, Texas. Following Roscoe's honorable service in World War II, the couple married on March 5, 1946, and made their home in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Together, Clois and Roscoe built a life centered on faith, love, and family. They welcomed their daughter, Linda Kay, in 1954 and their son, Steven Craig, in 1957. While raising their family in Independence, Kentucky, Clois devoted herself to what she considered her life's greatest calling, being a loving, full-time wife and mother. She and Roscoe worked tirelessly to provide a nurturing home and every opportunity for their children, taking great pride in seeing both graduate from college.

In 2002, Clois and Roscoe moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, to be closer to their daughter. Roscoe passed away in 2003. Following the loss of her beloved daughter, Kay, in 2024, Clois relocated to Greenville, South Carolina, to be near her son, Steve, where she spent her remaining years surrounded by the love and care of family.

Clois is survived by her son, Steve White and his wife, Maureen White; her granddaughters, Hannah Lang and Maegan White. Clois's legacy will remain as a caring and loving mother and grandmother.

Clois will be buried next to her husband at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
