Daniel Brandon Polston, 53, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was born January 28, 1970 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Bessie (Turner) and the late William Polston. In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Polston.

Daniel was honest, intelligent, and funny. He had a beautiful voice and loved to play music, whether it was the keyboard, drums, or guitar.  He knew every detail about his favorite artists and loved to listen to the deep cuts of albums.  Daniel was a beautiful, artistic soul.  He was traditional, polite, and thoughtful.  He loved nature walks, animals, college football, plaid shirts, and Dr. Pepper.  Most importantly, he loved Jesus and prayed daily for every member of his family.  Daniel loved his family immensely and he will be greatly missed.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Bessie Polston; his fiancée, Melonie Mann; his sons, Brandon Moring and Matthew Polston of Jacksonville; his daughter, Rachel Polston of Florida; two granddaughters, Jade Polston and Azzaria Gadson; his brothers, David (Maeleska) Polston and Glen (Viki) Polston.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2023 at the funeral home. Daniel will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
