It is with profound sadness the family of David Cole Perry, age 74 of Cabot, Arkansas, announces his passing on May 26, 2026. A dedicated protector of the community, David served as a firefighter and engineer with Little Rock Fire Department and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Division, collectively, for 30 years. David approached his career with unmatched bravery, selflessness, and a deep commitment to serving others receiving multiple awards of recognition for his loyalty, outstanding dedication, and heroic life-saving efforts, as well as, two medals of merit. He also enjoyed working at the North Little Rock Airport as an A&P mechanic during his time off from the fire station.

Beyond his duty to the fire department, David was a devoted husband to Pamela Hollingshead Perry for 53 years, a provider, protector, and a loving father to April Rochelle and Angela Perry; a grandfather to his five grandchildren: Emma Rochelle, Cooper Rochelle, Cade Peterson, Cora Peterson, and Callen Peterson. He is also survived by his sister, Dana Lindsey; brother in law, Carroll Lindsey; nephew, John Howell Thompson, III; niece, Beth Harrison; and aunt, Martha Baumgartner. David will be remembered for the extensive mechanical knowledge he held, his ability to answer every Jeopardy question correctly, his practical jokes, his willingness to help anyone at a moment's notice, his undeniable work ethic, and the profound impact he left on both his community and the brotherhood of the fire service.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Cabot, Arkansas with Visitation beginning at 10 AM, and Memorial Service beginning at 11 AM.
