David "Dave" L. Weaver, age 76, of Sherwood, went home to his Savior Jesus Saturday, November 28, 2020.  He was born January 14, 1944 in Mason, West Virginia to the late Chester M. Weaver and Wilda Leiving Brinker.  Dave proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force.  He had a firm faith in God and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.  Dave had a life-long love of flying, and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was very proud of his wife, children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with them.  Dave had a great sense of humor, and was known for his playful teasing.  He enjoyed serving as a volunteer for the Runyan Acres Volunteer Fire Department, and served as a HAM radio operator.  He always made it a priority to help others in need.

In addition to his parents, Dave is preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Weaver and William Weaver; sister, Ramona Weaver; son-in-law, Samuel Hasty, and grandson, Clayton Glover.

Dave is survived by his wife of 56 years, Margaret Zielinski Weaver of Sherwood; his children, Donna (James) Weber of Sacramento, California, Deanna Hasty of Conway, Arkansas, Denice (Jeff) Suekoff of Murrietta, California, and Nicholas (Jamie) Weaver of Bentonville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Steven Glover, Jarek Weber, Benjamin Hasty, Alyssa Suekoff, Ashlyn Suekoff, Kaylee Weaver, Gavin Weaver, and Madison Weaver; his half-brother, Lawrence Weaver, as well as many extended family and friends that loved him and will greatly miss Dave.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 4 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
