Our beloved mother and grandmother, Deborah Faye Bennett, of Jacksonville passed away on June 1, 2020. She was born June 25, 1952 in Searcy, Arkansas to parents James and Leoda Bennett. Deborah will be remembered for her funny and strong-willed personality. She was a great nanny to her grandchildren and loved taking care of them. Deborah also was very artistic and enjoyed painting, making jewelry and crocheting to pass the time. Although we love and miss her dearly, we know she is happy and in a better place.

In addition to her father, James Bennett, Deborah will be greeted into Heaven by both sets of grandparents: Jim and Clara Bennett and Ovid and Elsie Poindexter; as well as her great-grandson: Landon Sims.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Leoda Bennett; children, Nancy Sims, Kenny Sims, and Richard Sims; grandchildren, Alexia, Michael, LeeAnn, Jordan, Alyssa, Kaylyn, Kasie, Jared, Jayden, Trevor, Mady, and Connor; great-grandchildren, La'Bria, Londyn, Emerson, Brylee, Kaison, and Lailah; siblings, Sandy (Brian) Munsey and Beth (Dan) Wilson; loving friend, Sharon Humphries, and several extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 10:00 a.m., both at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
