Diane Lynn Ashenberger, 66, of Jacksonville passed away July 20, 2023. She was born October 6, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana to Betty and the late Archie Green. Diane was a very dedicated educator for thirty-three years with Pulaski County Special School District, before retiring as an elementary school principal. Her biggest goal was always to make a difference in the lives of others.

Those left to cherish the memories of Diane include her husband, Guy Ashenberger; mother, Betty Green; children, Cyndi (Jacob) Rodgers, and Philip (Lacey) Ashenberger; siblings, Denise Woods and Donna (Chris) Grimes; grandchildren, Karson Ashenberger, Kylee Ashenberger, Austyn Rodgers, and Emily Rodgers; in-laws, Richard and Joyce Ashenberger; and numerous beloved extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Diane will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made in Diane's name to the CARTI Cancer Center North Little Rock Location here . The family also asks that those attending the funeral service wear purple, if possible, in honor of Diane and her fight against pancreatic cancer.
