Donna Diane Meredith, age 77, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away December 3, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Bennie and Pearl (Tucker) DeFoe.

She loved her family with a passion deeper than words could express. She found joy in shopping for antiques and making her familiar trips to "Wal-Marts," as she affectionately called it. She loved to listen to her "sanging".

Mom never let anyone go hungry and made sure you always had a full belly. If something was wrong, she did everything she could to fix it. Her eyes lit up whenever her grandkids or any family walked into the room. She was the kind of mother and grandmother others could only hope to be.

She will be missed more than words can explain. Mom had a strong faith in God, and that faith kept her grounded throughout her life.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Meredith; and sisters, Margie Boren and Linda DeFoe.

She is survived by her son, Jeff (Alicia) Bailey; grandchildren, Mason, Liam, Morgan, and Nathan; and great-grandchildren, Meredian and Faith.

There will be a funeral service at 12:00p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. There will be visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or to an animal shelter of your choice.
