Doris Jean Sirk, 88, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022. She was born February 14, 1934 in Montgomery, West Virginia to parents John Ovington and Beatrice Sprouts. In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Virl Kenneth Sirk; her son, Gary Sirk; two grandsons, Clayton and Josh Killough; and one great-grandson, Tanner Killough. Doris loved travelling, dancing and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Gill) Via; sons, Ken (Peggy) Sirk and Steve (Menuka) Sirk; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Tiner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Doris will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Park immediately following the service.
