Dorothy Lynette Garrison Harris, 56, known as "Lindy" by her family and "Cookie" to her grandchildren, went peacefully in her sleep to be with her Lord on August 17, 2021. She was born May 3, 1965 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Earnest Henry and Dorothy Wilma (Hendrickson) Garrison. In addition to her parents, Lindy was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Caroline Cox; grandparents, Scott and Mary Garrison, and Tots and Bonnie Crawford. Lindy was a retired beautician who loved traveling, fishing and hunting, but was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren.

Lindy is survived by her loving husband of twenty-eight years, Leron Harris of Velvet Ridge, Arkansas; her daughters, Heidi (Tracy) Garrison Hoyt of Star City, Arkansas, Heather Rooffener and Katherine Harris, both of Beebe, Arkansas; her son, Brian (Crystal) Rooffener of Bradford, Arkansas; her sisters, Scottie Garrison Riley of Carlisle, Arkansas and Nancy Garrison Howard of Stuttgart, Arkansas; her brothers, Adam (Jennifer) Garrison and Seth Garrison, both of White Hall,  Arkansas; her grandchildren, Caden Cheek, Addison Rooffener, Riley Rooffener, Sylas Jones, Violet Jones, Chloe Williams, Jasper Rooffener, Jaci Robertson, Drew Luker, Jeremiah Griffith and Lindy Lou Garrison and extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

A memorial gathering will be held 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2021 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
