Dorthy Nell Johnson, 81, of Jacksonville, passed away December 10, 2022. She was born February 12, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Damon and Jessie Ruth (Paschal) Adams. In addition to her parents, Dorthy was welcomed into Heaven by her grandson, Stanley Johnson. Dorthy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was married to her beloved Royce for 64 years, 26 of which she spent serving as a supportive Air Force spouse.

Those left to cherish the memories of Dorthy include her husband, Royce Johnson; sons, Damon Lewis (Judy) and Gary Keith Johnson; grandsons, Steven and Thomas Johnson; granddaughter, Dorthy Lynn (Daniel) Bittle; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
