Douglas "Doug" Andrew Pucik, age 55, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, after suffering from an extended illness.

Doug was born December 29, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas to Robert "Bob" J. Pucik and Judy Horton Pucik.

Doug had an adventurous childhood, participating in a multitude of various activities in school, including sports, arts, painting, and music.  Doug was a 1987 graduate of Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He attained certification as an aircraft mechanic and was a model aviation enthusiast. Doug enjoyed woodwork, construction, and fine craftsmanship.

Doug is survived by his parents, Retired Major Robert "Bob" James and Judy Jayne Horton Pucik, of Jacksonville, AR; brothers, Rev. Don (Gail) Pucik, of Covington, LA, and Derik Pucik, of Sherwood, AR; sister, Beth Pucik Rydzewski, of Frisco, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas, with Father Alfhones Perikala and Reverend Don Pucik officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 9:00AM at the funeral home.
