Duane "Dude" P. Kelling, 67, of Jacksonville passed away peacefully surrounded by his three children on July 2, 2022. He was born November 1, 1954 in Travis, Texas to the late Raymond A. and LeeAnn (Aker) Kelling. In addition to his parents, Duane was preceded in death by his wife, Terri (Wells) Kelling; and sister, Linda Kelling.

Duane never met a stranger, notoriously yelling out "Hey Buddy!" to all his many friends and companions. On any given day, you could find him in a local store high fiving and blessing babies. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

Duane is survived by his beloved children, Angie, Sarah, and Jeff (Chelsea); grandchildren, Alex, Macie, Rylee, Talia, and Aiden; great-grandchildren, Anna and Jaxon; brothers, Franz and Randy; sisters, Laurie, Sherry, and Dicey; and lifelong friends, Roger (Gail) Brown and Charlotte Spillers.
