Edith Frances Hinkle, 83, of Jacksonville, passed away March 30, 2021. She was born June 27, 1937 to the late James and Mary (Eaton) Poff in Staffordsville, Virginia. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hinkle and sister, Emma Sue. Edith was a wonderful mother, wife and friend who loved taking care of her family.

Those left to cherish Edith's memory include her son, Richard (Lisa) Hinkle, Jr; her daughters, Marilyn Collins and Jimie (Chet) Gray; three grandchildren, Lloyd Collins, Troy Gray and Anna Hinkle and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2021 at the funeral home. Edith will be laid to rest 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 5, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
