Everett "Ed" Lyle Teasley, 53, of Jacksonville, passed away August 12, 2023. Ed was born August 26, 1969 in Rockford, Illinois Beverly Potter Teasley and the late Everett B. Teasley. He graduated from Cabot High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy for ten years. In his spare time, Ed enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and building model cars and ships.

Ed is survived by three children, Chase (Ashley) Teasley, Courtney (Dillon) Teasley, and Everett Colby Teasley; two grandchildren, Emma and Paisleigh Teasley; his grandmother, Helen Potter; his mother, Beverly Teasley; and sister, Lyn (Scott) Butler; as well as his niece, nephew, and two great nieces.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the funeral home. Ed will have a private interment at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
