Florence Edith Bair, 89, of Cabot passed from this life on March 11, 2025. She was born January 18, 1936 in Lucasville, Ohio to the late Fred Edward and Ruth Caroline (Dace) Slark. Mrs. Bair enjoyed working puzzles, trips to the beach and spending time with her dogs. Her favorite pastime was a day of shopping, getting her nails done, eating Mexican food and stopping for scratch-off tickets on the way home. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who lived the values of her Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Willard J. Bair; siblings, Nancy Friend, Harold Slark, Ella Mae Fraley and Dorothy Friend.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Phyllis Bell, of Cabot, Arkansas, Deborah Penney of Florida, Cheryl McMurray of Cabot, Arkansas, and Iva Eckhardt (Randall) of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren, Amber James (Keith), Ricky Eckhardt, Florence Daniels, Amanda Moore (Mike), Willie McMurray, Danny Brown (Donna), Anita Decker, Jen Knowles (Jonathan) and Stephanie Brown. Other survivors include seventeen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
