Frances Marie Hill, 91, of Jacksonville passed away Monday, August 26, 2024. She was born September 5, 1932 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William and Christine (Calva) Perrien. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Justine Caffey, Jack Perrien, Sam Perrien and Frank Perrien.

Frances' family, the Calvas, were one of the founding residents of the City of Sherwood. Frances attended Sylvan Hills Schools in elementary but graduated high school at North Little Rock High School. She met her late husband, Bill, at Gaines Street Baptist Church. They were married for 65 years. She was a homemaker and raised four children while supporting her husband as music minister. Frances was a charter member of Sherwood First Baptist Church. She loved her church families, especially the children's, youth, and women's ministries of all the churches where they served.  Frances' hobbies included painting, gardening, riding the zero-turn mower and mowing her land, and Fox News. She loved her country and was a proud conservative and supporter of Israel.

Left to cherish Frances' memory are her Sister, Patricia (Jim) Tucker; sons, Richard (Diane) Hill, Randy Hill, and David (Peggy) Hill; daughter, Susan (David) Valovich; Grandchildren, Andrea (David) Murphy, Melanie (Jake) Oprea, Bradley (Nicole) Hill, David (Rachel) Valovich, Jr., Loren Hill, Joshua (Jenna) Valovich, Taylor (Dylan) Arnt, Ryan (Devany) Valovich, and Caroline Valovich; a close niece, Dedi (Larry) Bialek; a close nephew, Jeff (Sally) Gill; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Stanfill Baptist Church, 12905 Fortson Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076. A visitation will start an hour prior at the church.
