Fred Frank Mistler, 70, of Jacksonville passed away February 12, 2023. He was born July 13, 1952 in Bay Shore, New York to the late Florian George and Mildred Clara (Meyers) Mistler. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Eliana Mistler Wishnevky; step-daughter, Janice Hamilton; and sister, Vivian La Jara.

Fred was a firefighter and EMT while living in New York. Before retirement, he worked at Walmart for thirteen years as well as the Jacksonville Police Department for twenty-two years. Fred was a generous and kind man that will be remembered by many.

Those left to cherish the memories of Fred include his wife, Joan Mistler; children, Daniel Mistler and Tina (Anthony) Bennett; step-children, Jeff, Jason, and James Nelson; fourteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
