Freddie Vaughn Stone, 84, of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2020. Freddie was born on March 25, 1936 in Tuckerman, AR to Duke and Grace (Beck) Stone. He graduated from Newport High School in 1955 and married his high school sweetheart, Georgia Ann, the same year before serving our country in the National Guard for five years. Freddie was an extremely talented, self-employed mechanic. He was a generous individual who dedicated his time and efforts to helping others. He loved to "tinker" and collect various mementos. He especially had an interest in uniquely shaped rocks. Freddie was a member of the Windsong Church of Christ where he made many wonderful friends.

In addition to his parents, Freddie is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Georgia Ann Stone.

Freddie is survived by his son, Rick Stone of Cabot, AR; granddaughter, Katie (Dustin) Morris of Cabot, AR; great grandchildren, Jordynne and Matthew Morris of Cabot AR; brothers, Dan (Judy) Stone of Austin, TX and David (Janie) Stone of Paragould, AR; as well as sisters, Diana (Otto) Ruesewald of Weiner, AR and Gracyne (Travis) Morgan of Southaven, MS.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
