George Egan Hubbard, III, 80, of Jacksonville, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. George was born on Monday, September 28, 1942 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, to the late George Egan and Mary Lewis Hubbard. He was a retired United Air Force Vietnam veteran. He also spent 20 years working for Central Flying Service in Little Rock. George loved sailing, motorcycles and learning. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Edward Hubbard and a grandson, Kyle Egan Atwood.

George is survived by his wife of 60 plus years, Phyllis Meredith Hubbard; daughters, Paige Hubbard, Patricia Meredith (Ricky) Atwood, Paulette Meegan Reynolds; a sister, Leila Jean Barnes; five grandchildren, Keifer Grey Atwood, Trey Lynn Atwood, Dylan Barton Atwood, Randi Fae Hubbard and Paige Marie Caton; 2 great-grandchildren, and one on the way; and very special friends, David Rainosek, Duke Mount and Tony Richardson.

Graveside services for George will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
