George Edward Massey, Jr., 79, of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020. He was born May 12, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late George and Willie Massey. Mr. Massey retired from the United States Air Force after thirty years of service, and also after sixteen years with the State of Arkansas. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife of over forty-three years, Clara Mae Massey, the love of his life with whom he has gone home to meet.

Survivors include his children, Sean Massey, Pamela (Jason) Peters and Sandra Prater and grandchildren, Walter Conley, Ashley (Dango) Kumwenda, Michael Conley, Jr., Caitlin Peters, and Logan Peters.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.  Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.  Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m.  Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Foundation, P.O.
