Geraldine Reshel, 89, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020. She was born in Bath, South Carolina to parents, Tom and Ruby Johnson on November 12, 1930.  Because her husband and sons were part of the Jacksonville Police Department, Geri loved the men in blue and they loved her back.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Reshel and siblings, J.D., Franklin, Tom Jr., Pauline, Hazel, Patricia and Rachel.

Geraldine is survived by her two sons, Jerry (Lynn) Johnson and Tommy (Paula) Reshel; six grandchildren, Todd Johnson, Traci (Andrew) Holland, Taylor (Robbie) Bishop, Braden Reshel, Sarah Toney and Jarod Toney; two great-grandchildren, Brendan (Lauren) Perdue and Kaylin Johnson and two siblings, Hughy and Roy Johnson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2020 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Geraldine will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Park following the service.  Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 501-982-2136.
