Glen Strain, 72, of Jacksonville passed from this life on March 13, 2024. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 5, 1951 to the late Hershel and Opal (Jones) Strain. Mr. Strain was a veteran of the United States Air Force with over twenty years of honorable and dedicated service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Strain. Glen will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Mary (Brannon) Strain; children, David (Vickie) Strain, Angela (Timothy) Hylton, Michael Strain; stepchildren, Altha Clark, Lisa (John) Voss, Tabbie (Eddie) Walls and Ricky (Laura) Case. Other survivors include a brother, Samuel (Sandra) Strain, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral Services with military honors will be 11:00am Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. A private interment will take place at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
