Glenda Joyce Davis, 82, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. She was born February 18, 1943 in Kensett, Arkansas to the late Kermit and Ima Shelton Harrison. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Davis; son, Larry Don Davis; and siblings, Gerald Harrison, Dale Harrison, and Vicki Milliken.

Left to cherish Glenda's memory are her daughters, Alison (David) Mullen and Jill Brooks; grandchildren, Blake (Marcy) Brooks, Matthew (Amanda) Mullen, Joshua Mullen, Bryan (Shannon) Brooks, and Whitney (Jason) Taylor; 6 great grandchildren and one on the way; and a host of nephews and cousins.

Glenda was, first, a mother. Her greatest pride and joy came from raising her children and building a home. Family meant everything to her. She especially loved gathering with family for Christmas. She adored her grandchildren beyond measure and took great pride in every moment spent with them.

Glenda, a woman of faith, loved serving alongside her husband, Don, in the church and community. She leaves behind many family members and friends who loved her dearly.

A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. January 29, 2026 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel 1504 N JP Wright Loop Rd. Jacksonville. Visitation will be one hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A private committal will follow the funeral.
