Grover Cleveland, age 90, of Bryant, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2025. He was born on August 24, 1935, in Newton, Mississippi, the second child of the late Marvin and Rozell (Hintson) Cleveland, following his older brother, Marvin. His family later moved to Isola, Mississippi, where Grover was raised. In 1965, he relocated to Arkansas, which remained his home for the rest of his life.

Grover worked many jobs throughout the years to faithfully support his family. He retired in 2001 from Reliable Life Insurance Company. Above all else, it was his life's mission to win souls for the Lord, a calling he embraced wholeheartedly.

In addition to his parents, Grover was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Sybil Cleveland, and by his second wife, Gloria Jeanette Cleveland.

He leaves behind a legacy of faith and love through his sons, Michael (Becki) Cleveland, and Mark (Sue) Cleveland; his daughters, Gayle (Johnny) Drain, and LeAnn (Eddie) Gwin; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Amberwood Health and Rehab and Arkansas Hospice for the love, compassion, and kindness they showed Grover.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 1504 N. JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Dementia Society of America or the American Heart Association.
