Haven Scott Beasley, 19, of Austin, passed away February 20, 2023. He was born June 17, 2003 in Searcy, Arkansas to Derrick and the late April Beasley. In addition to his mother, Haven was welcomed into Heaven by his uncle, Dewayne Hice; grandfather, Gerald Hice; and grandmother, Media Roberts.

With his goofy and selfless personality, it was easy to love Haven and left him with many friends that will miss him dearly. In his spare time, Haven enjoyed numerous hobbies, including skateboarding, deer and duck hunting, playing guitar, freestyle rapping, football, wrestling, and most importantly, going to the gym. Being athletic came naturally to Haven and he played on the football team from junior high until he graduated from Cabot High School in 2022.

Those left to cherish the memories of Haven include his parents, Derrick and Joni Beasley; godparents, Robert and Tina Johnson; grandparents, Joni McClendon, Michael Stroup, Nancy Alred, Pam and Cary Brown, and Earl and Marleen Roberts; great-grandmother, Kathryn Hice; siblings, Kennedy Beasley, Asher Beasley, Emily Miller, Madison Tully, Landon Tully, Haylee Thomas, and Jesse Thomas; aunts and uncles, Ginger Summers, Jeannie Roberts, Cathi Roberts, Cyndi (Brian) Weston, Cheryl Roberts, Alan McClendon, Dylan (Jessie) Stroup, and Aaron (Jennifer) Stroup; as well as several cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
