Our precious baby girl, Hazel Teresa Gerkensmeyer, was born sleeping on November 8, 2025 at 38 weeks. Though she never took a breath on this earth, she left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of all who love her.

Hazel was the cherished daughter of Abigail and Eli Gerkensmeyer; beloved granddaughter of Teresa and Jeff Wright and Christine and John Gerkensmeyer; great granddaughter of Rita Fleischman and Donna Gerkensmeyer. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Aaron and Kaylee Wright, Sister Maria Miguel, Nathan Wright, Misko Saric, Antonia Saric, Jessica Gholston, and Josiah Gerkensmeyer.

From the moment Hazel was known, she was deeply loved and prayed for. Her parents will carry her memory in their hearts. The weight of her absence is matched only by the depth of their love.

Hazel's tiny hands and perfect features remind her family of the beauty and fragility of life. Though her time here was far too short, she will always be remembered as a precious gift who brought love and hope.
