Obituary

Henry D. "Corky" Hickman, 74, of Jacksonville, Arkansas died June 29, 2022 at his home. He was born July 3, 1947 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Henry Wright and Carrie Cecil (Harding) Hickman. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his two brothers, Bobby J. Hickman of Springdale and Billy G. Hickman of Fayetteville.

He spent much of his life proudly serving his country in the Army, both active duty and in the National Guard, retiring at Camp Robinson in Little Rock. As a helicopter mechanic, Henry completed three tours in Vietnam. He was a person that people were quick to like, with an easy going and fun personality. Henry enjoyed lots of hobbies, including shooting sports, cars, dogs, and hitting the open road on his motorcycle.

Those left to cherish the memories of Henry include his wife, Lexie Hickman of Jacksonville; his son, Henry L. Hickman of Harrison; grandsons, Hank and Eli (Hannah); and his brother, Rick Hickman of Winslow.

Graveside service with military honors will be 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701). Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
