Howell Sioux Lam, 61 of Scott, Arkansas, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born October 30, 1962 to Mary (Phonsavanh) and the late Paul Ngocsang Lam in Thakhek, Khammouane Laos. In addition to his father, Howell was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Howell married Hui Cai on June 28, 2001. Known for his honesty, genuine kindness, strong work ethic, and unconditional love for his family and friends, he will be missed by all who knew him. Howell was a wonderful father, husband, son, big brother, uncle, and friend. With his exceptional welding and construction skills, Howell built many structures that will stand the test of time.

Howell is survived by his wife, Hui Cai; daughter, Valorie Lam; his mother, Mary Phonsavanh Lam; four brothers, Yongi Lam, Jin (Toukta) Lam, Pheng (Juliette) Lam, and Noi (Kelsey) Lam; three sisters, Ien (John) Mason, Siang (Steve) Reid, and Khim (Richard) Chuang; as well as eleven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
