Obituary

Ida Jo Creed, 84, of Jacksonville, AR, passed away on January 31, 2025. She was born in St. Charles, AR, to the late Charles and Emma Davis.

Ida had two built-in best friends in her sisters, Wanda and Geneva. They spend many weekends at Wanda's, enjoying cookouts and watching their families bond. Geneva "Sister" was Ida's rock and partner in all kinds of adventures. They traveled, went flea marketing, bowled together, and spent time at Sister's pool. Ida Jo also enjoyed bargain hunting with Velma her best friend of over 60 years. When these two got together, they would laugh like schoolgirls.

Grammy loved it when the great-grandkids, Collins and Charlee, came to see her. She loved keeping up with the grandkids' lives, often asking lots of questions so she was in the know. Her kids and grandkids were her greatest joy. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephew and keeping up with their families.

Ida was employed by the State of Arkansas for over 50 years. She worked until her illness and fully expected to return to work when she was better. She was a very dedicated and strong-willed lady.

Along with her parents, Ida is preceded in death by two siblings, Wanda Venable and Charles Davis, Jr., niece Brenda Huddle, and nephew Jimmy Venable.

She is survived by her sister, Geneva Huddle "Sister." She is also survived by her son, Tod Creed (Teresa), and her daughter, Paige Creed.

She has four grandchildren, Brody Creed (Madison), Creed McGoodwin, Dalton Creed, and Logan McGoodwin. She has two great-grandchildren, Collins and Charlee Creed, and six nieces.

In loving memory of our mom and Grammy, we love you and will miss you greatly.
