Ilene Schuetzle, 86, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born August 25, 1937 in Jay County, Indiana to the Roy and Bessie (Ross) Shull. In addition to her parents, Ilene was preceded in death by children, Michael Stults, Susan Stults Miller, step-son, Jay Schuetzle; and great granddaughter, Marlee Schuetzle; siblings, Vera White, Dorothy Sutton, Ray Shull, Faye Shull, Ruth Hartman, Carl Shull; and her beloved dog Gizmo. She was a longtime member of Hope Lutheran Church.  Ilene was a longtime employee of Safeway Stores, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Schuetzle; children, Debra Gibbs (David) of Lonoke, and  Pamela Pasierb (Richard) of Maumelle, Robb Schuetzle (Kimberlee) of Vilonia; grandchildren, Kristopher Staton of North Little Rock, Brandon Kerr (Landa) of Beebe, Aaron Gibbs of Lonoke, Kira Davis (Lake) of Heber Springs, Brittany Harper (Michaela) of Maryland, Amanda Lucas (Scott) of North Dakota, Mickey Schuetzle (Allison) of Benton, Randy Schuetzle (Natalie) of Conway, Jay Henry of Cabot, Julie Henry of Lonoke, Parker Schuetzle of Sherwood; along with eleven great grandchildren. Other survivors include sister Carol J. Manor (Robert) of Indiana; son-in-law, William Miller; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kris Staton, Mickey Schuetzle, Randy Schuetzle, and Lake Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Gibbs and Brandon Kerr, who are both on military deployment.

Visitation will be Monday, February 19, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Conger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jacksonville Animal Shelter or an animal shelter of your choosing.
