James "Danny" Holt, age 58, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away April 9, 2025. He was born on August 14, 1966 in St. Charles, Missouri to Richard and Wanda (Elliott) Holt. He is preceded in death by his mom, Wanda (Elliott) Holt, and his sister, Wendy Holt;

He is survived by his sons, James "Devin" Holt and Byron Andrew "Drew" Holt; dad, Richard Holt; bonus mom, Dorothy Holt; and sister, Melissa Edmonds.

Danny graduated from Sylvan Hills High School and was a Realtor and Property Manager for over 30 years. In his spare time, he was a competitive arm wrestler until an injury prevented him from competing. After that, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and going to concerts/live music events—especially when his boys were on stage.

Mostly, Danny will be remembered as a fantastic father, son, uncle, and brother.  His loved ones could always call on him, and he'd show up every single time with a smile and a funny story to tell. He was a hard worker, and was always optimistic and fun to be around. Danny will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00AM on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. There will be visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
