James Richard Smith, Sr., age 70, of Sherwood, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at his home.  He was born September 12, 1949 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas to the late I. E. and Letha Volk Smith.  James retired from Skippy Peanut Butter Shipping and Receiving and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Leta Smith, of the home; daughter, Amber Brown and her husband, Scott; son, Richie Smith and his wife, Megan and grandchildren, J.T., Bella, Madison, Collin, and Logan.
